Masks

Masks will be required indoors, unless you’re eating in the restaurant area, hydrating, in a private hotel room behind closed doors, pool, or playing in the playspace. We request you remain masked in the playspace when you are not actively playing. Those drinking outside the restaurant area may lower their mask temporarily to take a sip, and are expected to raise it again between sips. Those who choose to continue to mask while playing are reminded to have an alternative, non-verbal safe signal in place.

Acceptable masks and face coverings: They must cover the nose and mouth They can be made out of cloth, KN95, N95, surgical, solid fabric reusable material (mesh, lace and masks with holes are not acceptable). As face shields have gaps around the face and therefore do not provide the same protection as a mask, they do not meet our requirements.

No masks are required outdoors, including the outdoor playspace. We look forward to seeing your beautiful smiles in the sunshine!

Temperature Check

We will be checking your temperature at registration when you check in. Anyone with a fever will be denied entry to the event.

Testing

All attendees are strongly encouraged to test 72 hours or less before arrival. We understand that free PCR testing is no longer available in many areas, but encourage those who can PCR test to do so, as it is the most accurate. While not as accurate, testing with an at-home antigen (aka rapid) test is better than not testing at all.

If you feel sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms before coming to TES Fest please get tested ASAP. Should you test positive and/or show symptoms of COVID-19 within 10 days prior to TES Fest, we ask that you stay home and isolate per CDC guidelines. In such an event, please contact Customer Service at cs@tesfest.org. We are more than happy to work with you to find a solution.

If you feel sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms at TES Fest, please isolate yourself from others, and reach out to the TES Fest Chairs at chairs@tesfest.org for further guidance.

In addition to our requirements stated above, we also reserve the right to add additional health and safety measures for our event depending on Hotel, Municipal, State, and US public health recommendations and requirements for June and July 2023.
